Dear readers, authors, reviewers and contributors.
The new 2025 edition of the Journal of Citation Reports (JCR) has been published, and our journal's new impact factor is 1.4, a significant increase since the 2024 edition. This observed growth reverses the decline recorded in the two previous evaluations, representing an increase of almost 40% compared to the last evaluation. This resumption of growth is encouraging, but it requires continued effort from our journal's Editorial Committee and Editorial Board. Similarly, Polímeros requires the constant collaboration of authors in submitting articles and of reviewers in the careful analysis of these submissions. The increase in the number of citations of published articles is also a consequence of the greater visibility and consolidation of our journal as a quality reference in the field of Polymers. We are grateful for the work of the members of the Editorial Council and the Editorial Board, funding agencies, authors, and reviewers, as well as the ABPol Secretariat, who provide all the necessary support for Polímeros success.
